Founder of PRINTWORTHY Adam Novak had an early obsession with the sounds and smells of the darkroom at his high school and then at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. The magic when a sheet of white paper is dropped into the developer, time expands, pupils dilate, anticipation builds, and from a blank canvas, the silver rises, making a photographic print. The process had Adam Novak hooked. Many years and many ugly, forgettable photographs later, the digital revolution and experience has turned Adam into an expert printer on the professional Canon’s Ipf wide-format series of printers. His small team of pixel nerds helps him create beautiful prints day in and day out.
